Graphics specifications for Trade Show Package Deal #1:

Package Deal #1 includes many items, 4 of which need your print-ready files.  To make the print ready files for the 10' curved display, the case-to-podium wrap, and two retractable banner stands, please design at 150dpi, flatten all layers and use CMYK/8 color space.  Save your design as TIFF files for PC with LZW on. If you are working in AI, you can drop your AI file into Photoshop to export TIFF.  Please create files to the exact size of the designs, and do not add bleed past the design borders.  So for example, the retractable banner stand should be exactly 31*150=4650 pixels wide by 80*150=12000 pixels high. We can accept large file sizes.  File sizes of over 100 MB are OK.

* 10-foot curved popup:
Please keep the foreground images / text within the center 4 sections. This is the front of the popup.  The left and right sections wrap around the sides so these should just be used as color bleed or a spot for your website address.  The vertical lines indicate approximately where the image will be split between the graphic panels.  Please see the link at the bottom of this section for a photoshop file you can use as a start.

* Podium wrap:
The wrap wraps around the front, sides and towards the back.  Please keep your foreground image, logo, or text within the center section for best visual effect.

* 2 Awe retractable banner stands:
The size of the prints are 31" x 80".  Please leave at least the bottom 2+ inches and at least the top 2+ inches free of any foreground image / text. The banner frame attaches to the print at the top and bottom in these areas. Remember that the banner is taller than a person, so you really want to keep it simple, placing anything important eye-level, not way up near the top above anyone's head or way down near their toes.  The best designs leave a good half-foot or more free of any foreground image at the top and bottom.

The size of the print is 31" x 80".  Please leave at least the bottom 2+ inches and the top 2+ inches free of any foreground image / text. The banner frame attaches to the print at the top and bottom near these areas.  The best designs keep their important foreground images/text in the center near eye-level, not near the toes or above the head of the viewer.  The design file should be exactly 31 x 150 = 4650 pixels wide, by 80 x 150 = 12000 pixels high. There is no need for color bleed past the borders.

Graphics specifications for 8, 10, and 20 foot Fabric Displays:

Below are graphics specifications for your graphics designer.

To make the print ready file, please create a single TIFF file for PC with LZW compression. Design at 150dpi, flatten all layers and use CMYK/8 color space.  If you are working in AI, you can drop your AI file into Photoshop to export TIFF.  Please create files to the exact size of the designs, and do not add bleed past the design borders. 

The middle section of the template is the front of the display.  The left and right sections of the template indicate the side endcaps of the display.   Around the 4 edges of the fabric are about 2" of velcro.  This 2" border indicates approximately where the material is thicker and stitched. This stitching process is done by humans, and this is stretchy fabric, so leave this area as color or background image only.  Keep text and foreground images away from the 2" stitch areas to avoid distortion.  The inner two guidelines indicate approximately where the material makes a corner from the front of the display to the sides of the display.  Be sure to leave at least 2" on either side of these inner guidelines free of any text or foreground image as well.  Background color or images can bleed throughout the whole design, but the foreground / important text/images should be kept to the center areas at least 2" away from the velcro border and away from the front-to-endcap corners.  There is no need for color bleed past the borders.

The following specifications below are for the custom-built 10 foot super-tall fabric displays for specialty applications.  Note that most trade shows have a 7' 6" height limit.  For most trade shows please use the specifications above, matching the product that you have ordered.

6 foot and 8 foot custom printed full-graphics tablecloths:

Our custom tablecloths are dye-sublimated in full-color.  You can print edge to edge with any design and in unlimited colors.  This means that your tabletop and all sides can all have a background design that runs throughout the entirely of the tablecloth.  All edges are hemmed.

To make the print ready file(s), please create TIFF files for PC with LZW compression. Design at 150dpi, flatten all layers and use CMYK/8 color space.   Please create files to the exact size of the designs, and do not add bleed past the design borders.

Graphics specifications applicable to all 5 foot, 8 foot, 10 foot, and 20 foot Photomural popups:

Below are graphics specifications for your graphics designer and applies to all photomural popups, curved and straight, serpentine, gullwing, and big dipper configurations.

To make the print ready file(s), please create TIFF files for PC. Design at 150dpi, flatten all layers and use CMYK/8 color space.  Please flatten all layers, do not save the image pyramid, and zip/archive your TIFF file(s) before uploading.  If you are working in AI, you can drop your AI file into Photoshop to export TIFF.  Please create files to the exact size of the designs, and do not add bleed past the design borders.

We recommend that you avoid placing letters exactly on the lines where the panels meet to avoid half a letter appearing on one panel, and the other half of the letter on the other.  If you have pictures tiled, the panel separations are a perfect place to align the tiled picture borders.

The left-most and right-most panels are the endcaps.  These wrap around the sides towards the back so these should just be used as color bleed or a spot for your website address.

If you must use AI, designers have told us AI has problems in both opening large canvas sizes, and in rasterizing large files.  To work around the first problem, others have increased the dpi 10x, and decreased the dimensions by 1/10, preserving the number of dots.  To work around the second problem, we have heard designers saving their AI file, then opening it in Photoshop to rasterize it and perform the final steps of flattening layers and saving as TIFF for PC.

Before uploading your files, please zip or archive them.  Typical zipped file sizes for a 20' display range between 300MB-700MB. For a 10' display, typically we see 200 MB-400MB. If over 1GB, the file format specifications should be checked.  In many cases this means that the image has not been flattened, that the color space is CMYK/16, or that the file file has not been zip/archived. 

After placing the order online, with your order number upload your TIFF files, one for each of the printed items to the UPLOAD FILES link at the top of the site.

Design tip for the 20' display:
Please keep the foreground images / text within the center 8 sections. This is the front of the popup.  The left and right sections wrap around the sides so these should just be used as color bleed or a spot for your website address.  These left-most and right-most panels are indicated using dark blue on the design guide and will appear partially on the back, sides, and front of the display when installed.  The vertical lines indicate approximately where the image will be split between the graphic panels.

The left side curves away from the viewer exactly as a standard 10' curved display does.  The right side curves toward the viewer.  You can make a double-sided display by ordering a second set of panels ($798) available in the Additional Graphics category in the left-side Product List column.   The frame allows for up to 8 lights.  You can place the 4 includes lights on the front, and if ordering the back side graphics separately, then to add 4 more lights to your order for the back.

20 foot gullwing popup booth:

Please create files to the exact size of the designs, and do not add bleed past the design borders.  For best visual results, please do not place a letter right between panels.  This will cause half the letter to appear on one panel, and the other half on another.  If tiling pictures, the best visual result is obtained when placing the picture borders right on the guidelines which will naturally separate the pictures when physically produced.  The resulting TIFF file should be exactly 44052 pixels/dots wide by 13575 pixels/dots high. 

By carefully designing your center 24.4" panel, you can use the gullwing either as a 20' booth or a 10' curved display.  Both the two endcaps and the center panel are all 24.4" wide.  If you do not place a single contiguous image on both left and right sides, and instead separate the two sides visually with a different color center panel that matches the endcaps, you can use the center panel as an endcap instead of a center panel, making a 10' curved display.  For example, you could assemble the left side and use the center panel as the right endcap of this left-side 10' curved display.

This is the front of the popup.  The left and right sections wrap around the sides so these should just be used as color bleed or a spot for your website address.  These left-most and right-most panels are indicated using dark blue on the design guide and will appear partially on the back, sides, and front of the display when installed.  The vertical lines indicate approximately where the image will be split between the graphic panels.

For your 20' straight display file, your file should be exactly 255.5" x 150 = 38325 dots/pixels wide by 90.5" x 150 = 13575 dots/pixels high.  With endcaps on, the display is about 19' wide.

You will want to send 3 TIFF files to the UPLOAD FILES link with your order number after placing your order.  1 for each of the 2 case
wraps, and 1 for the 20' straight display.

20 foot big dipper popup booth:

The big dipper booth consists of a convex (curving away from the viewer) like our Package Deal #1's 10' display on the left, and a straight frame on the right.

The total width of your design file should be:
24.4"   +   4 of 27.56"   +   24.4"   +   3 of 29.53"   +   24.4"
or 272.03" wide.

The height remains the same at 90.5".

Your file should be exactly 272.03 x 150 = 40804 dots/pixels wide by 90.5 x 150 = 13575 pixels/dots high.

As this display is made from 2 frames, by clever design of your artwork you can use either left or right sides in a 10' booth.  We recommend that you make your 3 panel areas that are 24.4" a different color so that the center 24.4" panel can be used with either the left side or right side independently in a 10' booth space.  The total width of the display is approximately 19'. The leftmost 5 panels of this display are the same as the leftmost 5 panels of the 10 foot curved popup display.  The 6th panel is 24.4" and connects the two frames.  The 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th panels are the same as the rightmost 4 panels an 8 foot straight photomural display.
